Pumpkin Patch

11:02:00 PM

Well if you can't tell from our clothes, that little cold snap we had a couple of weeks ago is gone and just like that so are all of my fall clothes. It will be cooler one of these days... I just know it! Ha.

This Saturday we went to the Pumpkin Patch at a local church so the kids could play around and get a good dose of Autumn life even if it is hot as a Summer day outside. Hudson and Holland each picked out one little pumpkin and promptly came home and painted them entirely blue. I had grand schemes of colorful painted pumpkins but they each just went all in on that one color and now I have two cute little blue pumpkins lining my doorstep. I love it though, Kids always have better ideas than what we plan out for them right?

I saw something on pinterest recently where you had your child write something they are thankful for on their pumpkin everyday leading up to Thanksgiving and I really loved that idea. So maybe the all blue background will actually be perfect for that!

You can check out the Thankful Pumpkin inspo here! I would love to see all of yours if you end up trying it! I'm sure mine will be all over my social media when it starts filling up. While you're there make sure to go ahead and follow me on Pinterest! I would love to follow you back and connect. I'm not sure if I'm the only one still obsessed, but I'm on there for at least an hour every night before bed.

Speaking of I'm off to hit the hay. And maybe pin a thing or two.
